Plastic Blingtastic: 'Feelgood Glamour'

A little zhuzh for your home - and a boost for our planet.

'Plastic Blingtastic' is where sustainability meets creativity. Upcycled plastic toys are transformed into funky homewares that add a unique bit of individuality to any space, from a family home to a student pad, a neutral canvas to a creative office space.

Sustainability just got serious - but these reimagined rejects are now given a second life as ready-made wonders with a sense of fun.

Boo Yeah!

From playful plates to colourful wall art, each bespoke piece tells you story of renewal, reminding us that beauty can emerge from the most unexpected sources and that an object can have many uses, possibilities and contexts, turning trash into modern Pop Art. Who said recycling was dull?

Plastic Blingtastic glams it up a level!

By embracing this innovative approach, we're not only reducing waste but also infusing our homes with a sense of joy, nostalgia and pride. Much-loved dolls or childhood action figures take on a whole new decorative function, adorning your wall rather than cluttering up the floor - or landfill.

Even the humblest object has been crafted by someone and can become useful again in another's hands.

We zhuzh so you don't have to, creating extraordinary, one-of-a-kind decor.

'Things Men Have Made' By D.H Lawrence (1929)

'Things men have made with wakened hands

Are awake through years with transferred touch, and go on glowing

For long years

And for this reason, some old things are lovely

Warm, still, with the life of forgotten men who made them.'

Let's not forget women too though? It's the 21st century now! So many amazing female crafters, re-purposers and upcycle artists are emerging. We, too, like to make, style and shape objects.

The trail-blazing painter, poet and taboo-smashing novelist D.H Lawrence wrote this poem nearly 100 years ago. Lawrence loved life, in all its forms, art styles and cultures. He celebrated the hand-made, the skills of the artisan, the individually crafted. Time has passed and we're now well into the mass-produced plasticated age. I'm trying to enable today's discarded items to 'go on growing for long years' and remain 'lovely', albeit in a different way, far beyond their original intended use date. I may be working with today's modern materials rather than oak and mahogany wood, but the aim is the same: crafted, bespoke and something unique.
